Jeana Turner, Relationships Director at Hospitality Junxtion, had the amazing opportunity to interview the Group Marketing Manager, Antoinette Kleyn, at Velmorè Hotel & Spa. A beautiful hotel that is part of the Orion Hotels South Africa Group.
Velmoré Hotel & Spa is situated approximately 57km from Johannesburg’s CBD. Our sensational property consists out of 2 hotels, namely Velmoré Hotel& Spa & Velmoré Grande. Both Hotels are 3 & 4 star properties and offers free internet connectivity, selected DSTV channels and 17 hour room service. The property also features 13 different conference rooms, with De Bastille, our headline conference room who has seen the likes of Heineken SA making use of the 1500 pax venue.
The Hotel features unique architecture, combining both modern and traditional elements, with a hint of French architecture combined with well manicured lawns. When the sun goes down and the day stretches into the twilight of the night, it is then that the true ambiance of the property comes to life. Making Velmoré Hotel & Spa the venue of choice for both intimate & extravagant weddings, events & corporate gala evenings. The Hotel also features a restaurant that serves both local and international cuisine & has often been the chosen venue to South African VIP’s, Presidents & Corporate CEO’s.
The Hotel also features its own Bakwena Day Spa on the property. This privately owned spa was developed to offer an innovative & creative approach to spa and spa therapy in South Africa. Velmoré Hotel & Spa was built in November 2009 to accommodate the German soccer team and the associated German media during the 2010 FIFA Soccer Cup.
